ご挨拶
ソイルアンドロックエンジニアリング株式会社は、本年３月1２日に創立50周年を迎えることができました。この記念すべき50年という節目の年を迎えることができましたのも、これまでさまざまな形で支えてきてくださったお客様、ご関係の皆様のおかげであり、厚く御礼申し上げます。
当社は、ロックフィルダム建設が盛んだった１９７４年（昭和４９年）に創立しました。
創業当時はいわゆる大学発ベンチャーで、RI（ラジオアイソトープ）技術を土木施工管理分野へ導入したパイオニアです。簡単には扱えなかった技術を、誰でも扱える測定器として開発しました。
以来５０年に渡り、各電力会社、土木研究所、港湾空港技術研究所、日本道路公団（現NEXCO）、水資源機構、農林水産省、京都大学等の皆様とRI 測定技術を共同開発させていただき、会社の発展とともに社員のエンジニアリング能力も向上してまいりました。
近年は、時間と手間がかかり人によって精度が違っていた現場作業を、測定器によって省力化・均質化し、その独自技術が評価され、今では公共機関から一般企業まで盛土の施工管理やコンクリートの品質管理、地盤改良分野、工場排水の管理、地盤調査・土質試験等の分野で幅広く当社RI製品をご愛用いただいており、また土木関係のエンジニアリング分野でも当社にご用命いただいております。
また、i-Constructionに対応した新製品の開発も進めております。各方面で人手不足に直面し、自動化が求められている現在、弊社もその点に関しても貢献できると考えております。
これからも多方面の皆様に必要とされる会社であり続けるために、創業時の精神を忘れず、「我々の先進の技術、製品、サービスで、社会に貢献する」という経営理念のもと、社員一同が日々技術の研鑚を積み重ねるとともに、当社の技術及びRI製品を世の中のニーズに合うように向上させていく所存です。

Greetings
Soil and Rock Engineering Co., Ltd. celebrated its 50th anniversary on March 12th of this year. We are able to reach this memorable milestone of 50 years thanks to all of our customers and stakeholders who have supported us in various ways, and we would like to express our deepest gratitude.Our company was founded in 1974, during the time Rock Fill Dam construction was prosperous. At the time of our establishment, we were a so-called university venture, and a pioneer for applying RI (radio-isotope) measurement technology to the construction management field of civil engineering. We developed a technology that was not easy to use into a measuring instrument that anyone can use.
For 50 years until now, we have jointly developed RI measurement technologies with research institutes in the civil engineering field, including government institutions, universities, and private companies. We have expanded our company while improving the technical skills of our employees.On-site work, which used to be time-consuming and labor-intensive and had varying degrees of accuracy depending on the person, has recently been made labor-saving and uniform by measuring instruments. This our unique technology has been highly praised, and now our RI products are widely used by public institutions and general companies in fields such as embankment construction management, concrete quality control, ground improvement, management of factory wastewater, ground survey, and soil quality tests. In addition, we are also being requested in the field of engineering related to civil engineering.
We are also developing new products that support i-Construction. Currently, we are facing a labor shortage in various fields and automation is required, and we believe that our company can also contribute in this regard.In order to continue to be a company that is needed by our clients and general contractors, we will never forget the initial spirit established during our company’s founding, and will continue to do so based on our management philosophy of “contributing to society with our advanced technologies, products, and services.” Furthermore, all of our employees will accumulate their skills each and every day, and we will improve our technologies and RI products to meet the needs of the world.
Finally, as for everyone, we ask for your continued support and encouragement as we were fortunate enough to have been receiving until today.
